"Honey, was it yesterday when you dug our car free from the snow with the tiny showel, and it took like a 40 minutes?", "Yes..", "Ok, just checking, please, don't look out from the front window..."

  4. Guess that is the left over snow from those 25 cm that fell in 5 hours here in Luxembourg on Wednesday evening :)

  7. This is serious! I only saw this in New York when I came just after a snowstorm. But then there are always people who can make money of that (5 dollar to dig out your car!).
I am glad the snow is gone in Amsterdam (don't know for how long).

  10. My hubby just told me that there is also some people making money of that in our neighborhood, but they take 20€ (over 26dollars). And if all that snow comes in one day... you should pay that everyday. :O

  12. Oh my, that brings back memories. When I lived in Maine I had a garage at home, but at work I sometimes had to park in an open lot. I'd get out of work (sometimes in a skirt) and have to dig out my truck. It was not fun. Especially when there was so much snow that you couldn't even see any of the car sticking out!

  19. Juu, lunta on tullut Karjaallekin aivan sairaasti! Tuossa omassa pihassa on aikuisella miehellä reiteen asti. Siis paikassa, mihin lumi on vain satanut. Eli reilut puoli metriä on nyt tullut tähän mennessä...huoh.
Täällä onkin lasten koulujen pihoilla potkukelkkoja rivissä. Ostin omani myös. =)
