"Honey, was it yesterday when you dug our car free from the snow with the tiny showel, and it took like a 40 minutes?", "Yes..", "Ok, just checking, please, don't look out from the front window..." |
I'd like to see into your dreams, my little girl.

LOL Don't you just love this time of the year? :D
ReplyDeleteOMG that's what you call a downfall. We just have to have a dusting of it here in the UK and nearly eveything comes to a standstill! S x
ReplyDeleteYikes! That's a whole lotta snow!
ReplyDeleteUgh. Poor hubby indeed!
ReplyDeleteGuess that is the left over snow from those 25 cm that fell in 5 hours here in Luxembourg on Wednesday evening :)
ReplyDeleteMaybe you should give your hubby a bigger shovel for Xmas :)
brrrrr... lol
ReplyDeleteWe so understand (well, mind you, we haven't ever had a car so we get to trudge out in this but....we understand)! Yikers!
ReplyDeleteIn Bariloche, my city yesterday, in the southern hemisphere where we expect the summer, snow fell for 3 hours

This is serious! I only saw this in New York when I came just after a snowstorm. But then there are always people who can make money of that (5 dollar to dig out your car!).
ReplyDeleteI am glad the snow is gone in Amsterdam (don't know for how long).
We just got flurries yesterday. I'm waiting for the "good snow" like you got! :)
ReplyDeleteAnd Thea, who's diggin' out cars for only $5? Send them our way!!!! HA!
I hope I never see that scene in NC again.
ReplyDeleteMy hubby just told me that there is also some people making money of that in our neighborhood, but they take 20€ (over 26dollars). And if all that snow comes in one day... you should pay that everyday. :O
ReplyDeleteWhen are you heading out here to California?
ReplyDeleteOh my, that brings back memories. When I lived in Maine I had a garage at home, but at work I sometimes had to park in an open lot. I'd get out of work (sometimes in a skirt) and have to dig out my truck. It was not fun. Especially when there was so much snow that you couldn't even see any of the car sticking out!
ReplyDeleteYour picture reminds me of funny 'snowy car' video at wimp.com that MIGHT make your hubby feel a little bit better:

Color me mildly jealous; it's 52 degrees here.
ReplyDeleteWOW...

ReplyDeletewe still don't have any snow! it sucks.
ReplyDeleteIts 23degC at 8am here in New Zealand! I love this time of year.
ReplyDeleteW Polsce podobnie ale u nas odśnieżają drogi.
ReplyDeleteLooks like South Dakota today!
ReplyDeleteJuu, lunta on tullut Karjaallekin aivan sairaasti! Tuossa omassa pihassa on aikuisella miehellä reiteen asti. Siis paikassa, mihin lumi on vain satanut. Eli reilut puoli metriä on nyt tullut tähän mennessä...huoh.
ReplyDeleteTäällä onkin lasten koulujen pihoilla potkukelkkoja rivissä. Ostin omani myös. =)
