Thank you so much! These whimsical photos really made my morning. I hope my new baby daughter's dreams are as lovely as these!! All the best to you and your little one.
Amazing. I'm sure your child has had all of these dreams and so many more. She's a great and sound sleeper! My best to you and yours from me and mine. :)
These are so adorable and you are very artistic and clever for thinking this up! Just love them...they bring a smile to our face :) thank you for sharing
I loved seeing your photos of your beautiful baby. So original and magical. I have a new granddaughter due in November and you have given me ideas for a completely new way of taking photos. Keep up the great work. You have brilliant imagination and these are a joy :)
Ho una bambina di 26 mesi, e nel vedere queste foto penso anche a lei ed all'amore che ispirano. Sono foto bellissime. Auguri alla piccola ed alla mamma.
This is AMAZING... and I love your great sense of humour :D. You've turned something dreaded by many moms (taking care of a young baby) into something fun ~~
Incredibly imaginative! (And she is adorable!) I'm with the person who said "Let me know when you have notecards!" Thanks for a beautiful start to my morning.
She is one of a kind! And her mother too! I'am so glad you shared these moments with us. Soon she'll be too big to play with..My first one is going to fly away on Monday, so my feelings are a bit different. The kind of pictures will be allmost unpossible to take. Have a nice summer and I wish you a good luck!
So wonderful! What a creative mom you are and what a wonderful way to cherish one of my favorite memories of a sleeping baby. Makes me wanna go right out and have another one! heh.

I don't know if you speak Finnish, so here's the translation for two finnish comments here:
On todella hyvällä mielikuvituksella kuvattu ja on lapselle ihana katsoa sitten joskus. =It's photographed with very good imagination and is wonderful fot your child to watch someday.

From one advertising woman to another... clearly you have found a new and incredible career ahead! Really stunning and touching photos! Congratulations on your new adventures :)
I wanted to cry seeing your lovely little girl and thinking how lucky she is to have such a creative mom to raise her. Fantastic, creative and original art. You have to publish these!!
this is fabulous! your little gal is so fortunate to have such a creative mother! if her nap time is this fun, i can't imagine the blast you two have while she's awake!
WHAT A WONDERFUL JOB YOU DID ON THIS AND THAT BABY IS JUST SO PRECIOUS. YOU ARE A MASTER OF ART! THANK YOU FOR SHARING THIS. TONS OF CREDIT TO YOU. TRULY A "WORK OF ART". JEAN
aaawww. I wish I could be this creative and take photos of my baby girl. I am sure it must be so much fun. This has inspired me to take snap shots with a bit of imagination. I will try!
Absolutely love your creativity. What wonderful memories for Mila when she grows up! My best wishes to you and the little doll. Keep surprising us with your great work.
My maternal insticts are oozing love, love, love. You are very creative and this could be your new career. Imagine how many parents would love to have a picture of their child that is so unique and memorable. PEACE-Olvia
Well, it's not for my amusement only, photographs rarely are.
I'm sure she's going to love and treasure these funny memories when she gets older. She is actually already watching these pictures with a smile on her face. :)
You can read my reply for the "Paul" in the FAQ-page.
Hello Adele ! I'm brazilian and I love take children pictures. I want to copy your idea. What do you think about is ? Write to me please on my mail (mayui.becker@gmail.com). Thanks a lot !
Hello Adele! These pictures just made my day. They are very beautiful and creative. I just made my account with blogger, your blog was the first I came across and I am very happy I did. These are very incredible! Enjoy the quiet naps!
Girl! You are so incredibly creative and unique! You truly are one of a kind. Every single picture I thought "WoW!" You spark the creativity of others! You have definitely inspired me :) Thank you so much for sharing! You are going to do so well!! Fantastic work!
I just loved all of you photos, and that little beauty of yours; -She is soooo cute! And incredibly sleepy!! haha. -Keep it up. -You just brightened up my day! Amazingly creative! ;-)
This is definitely the best blog I have ever seen. I don´t understand how someone can have so much imagination. I would like to be your daughter. And I bet she loves to be.
Sorry - simply can't agree. Your daughter is a human being, not something for you to dress up and play dolls with. Show some respect for her. She's not there for your edification and for you to explore your creative side. She is separate from you now, not for you to treat as an extension of your whimsy. Disgraceful.
This is for KATE! Wow! Did you wake up on the wrong side of the bed or what? There is nothing wrong with what she is doing. I am sure her child will grow up and see these pics and smile! Hopefully she will be more or even half as creative as her mother and these pics will only drive her to be more creative. Her idea is sweet and different. She is not a doll she is a sweet sleeping baby. I look at it like she is making a visual for her dreams...not just dressing her up like a doll. Constuctive critism is great but there is nothing constructive about what you said. You were simply rude and your comment is uncalled for! If you don't like her creativity or idea so be it that is your choiuce. But to sit here and crush her creativity is a disgrace, not her being creative with her sleeping child. She is not harming her in any way. So maybe you should think before you put your 2 sense. She has way more fans than foes here who will obvioisly stick up for her. I'm sorry, I just don't agree with people putting people down because they don't agree with their decision. You act like she is skinning a cat or something.
Very cute and sweet baby girl... My question is... What mother ever had enough time to do all this with a newborn? Man I hit the ground running every morning and barely had time to shower myself. Do your days have more than 24 hrs in them? lol J/K I do love your pictures!
Lucky mother? :) I know I'm really blessed with the great sleeper, but I guess my "secret" is very loving and involving husband, who is working at home studio, so if I really need to take a shower, cook or answer to my e-mails, he can be few minutes with Mila. And now when she's over 4 months and tolerates 2 hours separation from me, I also got little me-time, thanks to daddy again. I do yoga every monday, yay!
And I have to confess, my pregnancy was awful time. I only slept, ate and suffer 9 months, I was on sick-leave most of time because I throw up 15 times per day and my pelvis was too weak to carry huge baby. So after Mila's birth I was literally bursting of joy and energy. Anything else than pregnancy seem to be a piece of cake.
And making these photos don't take that much from my time. I make only 1-2 pics per week and that takes about 5 minutes, maximum. I guess it's just about how you spend your time. We all have different priorities and passions in life. Some people get fun from friends, chatting on messageboards, watching telly or baking, some others get that from doing other stuff, but the most important thing is that we do things what makes us happy. At least sometimes. :)
I just stumbled upon your work through The Leaky B@@b and your pictures put a huge smile on my face. BRILIANT!!!!! LOVE every single one! Thank you for making my day!!!
I have admired your work for a little while now. Please, please, please think about making it available as prints or a calendar! I really want to decorate my daughter's room with these images. I find them deeply moving. The first time I saw them I cried because they are so beautiful. You have created something that really touches my heart.
A melhor coisa do dia foi ver fotos tão lindas, quanta doçura, arte e inocência! Que Mila tenha sempre belos sonhos e que realizem-se os mais lindos! Obrigada!
Yay! I was waiting for a new photo... smile across my face!!! I *heart* your photos...thank you so much for sharing them with us...always looking forward to what you come up with next but always love what you've already done.
I am so sorry this has happened to you! I, for one, have totally enjoyed your picture stories that you have created using your beautiful daughter. I will continue to follow your blog to find out what else you have in store for us. Congratulations on your new book. I look forward to the release date.
How sad some people are. I will greatly miss seeing Mila in her dreams but understand why you must do this. Please sell your book in the US. I would love to purchase it. I have your blog linked in my favorites on mine and have thoroughly enjoyed your pictures. Thank you for sharing Mila with us! She's a beautiful girl and you're an amazing mother.
fall in love with mila's pixs.. the first one i saw is the above, touched my heart that my tears dropped ....really love ur art,can see how deep is your love for her... xoxo
I'm so sorry to hear the bad people have been at it. *sigh* They ruin it for everyone else. I have so enjoyed and loved every single creative photo you came up with... your little darling makes it easy, I'm sure. Thank you for sharing her with us. I will continue to visit you and Mila, see how you're doing. You will always be one of my favorite blogs (I have you linked on my blog list). I look forward to hearing about the book! I, for sure, will be buying it! ♥
I came across your blog a couple weeks or so ago (via CRAFT blog) and fell in love. What a disappointment that others are abusing your generosity. I hope your book will come out soon because I will definitely buy it as a gift for expecting mothers in my life.
What happy news that you're doing a book! I truly look forward to it. But I am so sad that I didn't get around to asking you sooner for permission to use (with copyright) some of your images to print out and put up in my daughter's room. She's 18 months old and just LOVES babies. Always talking about babies. I have these little photo frames that look like Polaroids, and I'd imagined framing your photographs of Mila and putting them in Sadie's room, so she can say "Bay-bee!" Bummer.
I'm so sorry that your blog was abused. I would go to look at Mila's pictures whenever I was sad or stressed or just wanted a reminder of something beautiful in the world.
Dear Adele I congratulate you very much. Photos so beautiful. I am writing from Turkey. Association for those who want to have a baby I would like to publish pictures with your name and site link to our site. www.cocukistiyorum.com ( it means : I want a child)
Hi Adele, I am a Chinese girl and I saw your photos on RENREN.com (just like Facebook, it is the most popular SNS in China). I love your photos so much.
Oh, I'm going to miss these! I understand and support you of course, but goodness, I'll miss the photos! (a friend who had finally been able to adopt after years of sadness sent me your joyful site. It helped them when they waited for their own baby) Thank you for sharing your creativity and your sweet baby with us. I'll be looking for your book in the USA. Sigh.....I'm sad that I won't see her dear "dreams" anymore.... Fondly, Camille (Virginia, USA)
Adele Your pictures inspired me to shoot my, now 5 month old daughter ... The pictures are in a completely different style, but thanks to you I know what joy comes from perpetuating every day in the life of her own child, apotem m going back to those days ... Your pictures are beautiful and very imaginative ... looked for you every day ... Now I read this sad news, but frankly I understand you, alone run a blog, but pictures of my family do not put ... Kisses and much health for you and Mila
wow your site moved me to tears. As a mother to two little kids i was awed at your talent and your love for your baby and your art. Your lullaby made me cry ,,, Good mothering is not something to be taken lightly. you moved my heart , my mother heart, my woman heart, my person heart. thank you
This site has posted a whole bunch of your pictures without giving you any credit, and your watermarks are removed. I hope they asked your permission. How terrible that you have had to take your photos down - I love them to pieces. http://www.topdesignmag.com/when-parents-are-artists-23-funny-photos
Adele, sain sähköpostia ystävä, ja kuvia hänen tyttärensä! Toivon vain enää ihastuta minua ja hämmästyttää minua luovuutta! Onnittelut! Se on monia muistoja tulevaisuudessa! Jumalan siunausta! Anteeksi kielen. Olen brasilialainen ja en puhu suomea, ja minun Englanti on heikko. Toivon, että voitte ymmärtää. vierailla blogissani! http://misturinha-da-marilia.blogspot.com Hugs Marilia
I am very happy to hear that there will be a book. I wanted to let you know that I saw this. http://smilepanic.com/baby-dreams. Perhaps you know about it already. I love your photos and would never think of copying them. I adore Mila and your creativity. xoxo, Noelle
I like this idea of a daydream. You're so creative! She looks so cute and fragile picking the flower. We used to take photos of our sweet niece, Gaile, when she was a baby. Now that she had grown as a teenager, she was so proud of her cute baby photos. Her favorite includes a photo when she was playing her 18 in doll. Clothes that are colorful and shiny are her favorites too. I remember her being so happy when she received 18 inch doll clothes when she was seven years old.
Truly amazing! Your creativity and imagination I'm sure will be passed on to your beautiful daughter. These photos are so special that you have created. I look forward to your book and what a lovely idea to share it with young children and to create stories from your photos.
Those pictures are absolutely adorable---your creativity is amazing. I'm so bummed to hear you've had issues with your pictures being used without your permission.
Congratulations and our best wishes for you and your family, and for your great ideas. Dios los bendiga, from Venezuela, a country in the Caribbean with an eternal summer.
Its like you read my mind! You seem to know so much about this, like you wrote the book in it or something. I think that you can do with some pics to drive the message home a little bit, but instead of that, this is great blog. A fantastic read. I'll certainly be back. rental forklift | SEO Company

I really want to decorate my daughter's room with these images. I find them deeply moving. The first time I saw them I cried because they are so beautiful. You have created something that really touches my heart.
ReplyDeleteYou are so creative! Love all your pics.. so adorable!
ReplyDeleteCapturing a baby's dreams itself is such a novel idea! Just fantastic.
A melhor coisa do dia foi ver fotos tão lindas, quanta doçura, arte e inocência! Que Mila tenha sempre belos sonhos e que realizem-se os mais lindos! Obrigada!
ReplyDeleteNo seriously... I think you must have won the baby lottery! I did, too, of course or I wouldn't know. :) BEAUTIFUL! Gorgeous work, too! -M
ReplyDeleteYay! I was waiting for a new photo... smile across my face!!! I *heart* your photos...thank you so much for sharing them with us...always looking forward to what you come up with next but always love what you've already done.
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry this has happened to you! I, for one, have totally enjoyed your picture stories that you have created using your beautiful daughter. I will continue to follow your blog to find out what else you have in store for us. Congratulations on your new book. I look forward to the release date.
ReplyDeleteHow sad some people are.
ReplyDeletefall in love with mila's pixs.. the first one i saw is the above, touched my heart that my tears dropped ....really love ur art,can see how deep is your love for her... xoxo
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry to hear the bad people have been at it. ♥
ReplyDeleteI came across your blog a couple weeks or so ago (via CRAFT blog) and fell in love. What a disappointment that others are abusing your generosity. I hope your book will come out soon because I will definitely buy it as a gift for expecting mothers in my life.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait for a book! I will be in line to buy it and can't wait to read it to my little guy at bedtime!
ReplyDelete..and just blogged about it at:
ReplyDeletehttp://deepseamusings.blogspot.com/2010/10/net-piracy.html
Thank you for sharing all that you have. I am so sorry people can't just play nice all the time.
ReplyDeleteKnow that you have brought a smile to my face on many occasions.
ReplyDeletewhat an amazing idea! Can't wait for the book :)
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry that your blog was abused. I would go to look at Mila's pictures whenever I was sad or stressed or just wanted a reminder of something beautiful in the world.

Your imagination is incredible. These are truly beautiful.

ReplyDeleteTruly amazing! Your creativity and imagination I'm sure will be passed on to your beautiful daughter. These photos are so special that you have created. I look forward to your book and what a lovely idea to share it with young children and to create stories from your photos.
ReplyDeleteJust saw the delightful photos. My you ARE talented and captured the sweetness and innocence of babyhood.
ReplyDeleteHave you thought of putting your photos into a calendar?
I'd LOVE to purchase a calendar format of your photos of your beautiful little daughter.

Its like you read my mind! You seem to know so much about this, like you wrote the book in it or something. I think that you can do with some pics to drive the message home a little bit, but instead of that, this is great blog. A fantastic read. I'll certainly be back.
